At a Norwich City Football Club training session, central defender Tony Powell discusses the player situation at the club, with both Kevin Bond and Justin Fashanu seeking higher wages or transfers. Powell claims the discussions haven't really affected the squad, all of whom earn varying wages.
Powell also discusses the clubs upcoming encounter with Manchester United, citing their attacking style, and praises Norwich's defensive improvements following the appointment of new manager Ken Brown at the beginning of the 1980/81 season.
Both Kevin Bond and Justin Fashanu left Norwich City Football Club during the 1980/81 season. Bond had a brief stint in the North American Soccer League with Seattle Sounders, before returning to England, joining Manchester City for the start of the 1981/82. Fashanu had a loan spell with Adelaide City Football Club in Australia's National Soccer League, before joining Nottingham Forest in 1981/82.
